Welcome here are the ways we look forward to supporting you to feel more alive. Anxiety isn’t who you are. It’s something you can change
At The Womb Initiation, we work with women, men and children who are ready for a different relationship with anxiety.
Because anxiety isn’t always obvious.
Sometimes it’s panic attacks.
Sometimes it’s the racing mind at 2am.
Sometimes it’s constantly worrying, overthinking, avoiding things, feeling overwhelmed or never being able to properly switch off.
And sometimes anxiety looks like anger, exhaustion, perfectionism, control, people-pleasing or simply pushing through because that’s what you’ve always done.
Our programmes are bespoke because no two people experience anxiety in exactly the same way.
There is no one-size-fits-all formula.
We look at you—your experiences, your patterns, your body, your nervous system, your beliefs and the life you’re actually living—and create a programme around what you need.
FOR WOMEN, MEN AND CHILDREN
For generations, we’ve learned different ways of surviving.
In Ireland, particularly for women, many of us were raised with the message to be good, be strong, get on with it and put everyone else first.
Be the perfect daughter.
The good wife.
The devoted mother.
Don’t make a fuss.
Keep going.
And now women are expected to do all of that while also working, parenting, managing the home and carrying the emotional and mental load of everyone around them.
It’s no wonder so many women are exhausted.
But anxiety doesn’t only affect women.
Men can carry enormous pressure to stay strong, provide, cope and keep everything inside.
And children can carry anxiety that shows up as panic, overwhelm, sleep difficulties, avoidance, school anxiety or school refusal.
Different lives. Different experiences. Different expressions of anxiety.
But the underlying patterns can be changed.
WHEN SURVIVAL BECOMES YOUR NORMAL
You can become so used to coping that you don’t even realise how much you’re carrying.
You keep everyone else happy.
You put yourself last.
You overthink every decision.
You struggle to say no.
You snap at the people you love and then feel guilty.
You can’t switch off.
You don’t know what you actually want anymore.
Or you simply feel like you’re getting through life rather than living it.
This is where our work begins.
Not by asking, “What’s wrong with you?”
But by asking:
“What has your mind and body learned to do to keep you safe—and what would you like to change?”
THE PATTERNS WE SEE
Anxiety and survival mode can show up as:
Panic attacks
Constant worry and overthinking
People-pleasing
Perfectionism
Fear and avoidance
Feeling responsible for everyone else
Irritability or snapping at the people you love
Exhaustion and overwhelm
Difficulty sleeping
Feeling disconnected from yourself
Loss of confidence
Relationship difficulties
Feeling stuck in old patterns
Fear of being alone or being without reassurance
School anxiety or school refusal
Feeling unable to switch off
A sense that life has become something you simply have to get through
And sometimes you can’t even explain why you feel the way you do.
You just know you don’t want to keep feeling like this.
THE RIPPLE EFFECT
When one person changes the way they experience themselves, it can change the relationships around them too.
When you are no longer living in constant anxiety, you have more capacity to be present.
To communicate.
To connect.
To enjoy your children.
To be fully yourself in your relationship.
To make decisions from a place of clarity rather than fear.
And that’s why our work isn’t just about getting you through the next panic attack.
It’s about changing the way you experience your life.
FROM SURVIVING TO LIVING
Our programmes are designed to help you move beyond simply managing anxiety and begin creating a different way of living.
To understand the patterns that have been running your life.
To reconnect with yourself.
To feel more at home in your body.
To build self-trust.
To respond differently when anxiety appears.
And to create space for the things anxiety has pushed into the background:
connection, confidence, presence, pleasure and actually enjoying your life.
Because you were never meant to spend your whole life just coping.
FROM PANIC TO PLEASURE.
FROM SURVIVING TO LIVING.
FROM ANXIETY RUNNING YOUR LIFE TO YOU LIVING IT.
